EcoZert 2025
This year, fetra - Fechtel Transportgeräte GmbH has once again received a special award: the company was once again awarded the EcoZert certificate for outstanding sustainability. The certificate was presented at fetra's premises in Borgholzhausen. Mr. Roggenbuck, authorized signatory at Creditreform Bielefeld, presented the certificate to sustainability officer Maja Schröer and marketing manager Jan Völlering.
EcoZert – Sustainability at fetra
Creditreform awards the EcoZert to companies that meet particularly high standards in the areas of environment, social affairs, and corporate governance (ESG). The award is based on strict criteria, such as efficient use of resources compared to the industry benchmark and significant savings compared to the past. In addition, above-average social commitment or recognizable improvements in the social sector are also taken into account.
The certificate confirms that fetra not only meets these requirements, but has also been able to document them sustainably. It is valid for one year and is only awarded after a successful re-audit. By awarding the EcoZert, Creditreform supports the regional economy in making sustainable practices transparent and demonstrating them to customers, business partners, and employees.
For fetra, the certificate is not only recognition, but also an incentive. The company continuously invests in sustainable and responsible corporate management. With this renewed award, fetra is documenting its claim to set standards as a manufacturer of transport equipment, not only in terms of quality and innovation, but also in terms of sustainability.
A further step will be taken in September 2025, when fetra will commission a photovoltaic system with a nominal output of 700 kWp on the roof of the new building extension. The modern system will be used both to supply the company with its own electricity and to feed surplus energy into the public grid. This is another important step by the company towards sustainable energy generation and climate protection.
